    Question about Traffic Violations

Sorry. I have one more question. What is the consensus about traffic tickets? Are they looking for a history or traffic tickets? I have three tickets on my record. The first was in 1994, the second was in 1997 and the third was actually July of this year. Will the ticket in July hurt really bad. This is the only think on my record. The ticket was in July was not speeding. The ticket in July was for driving on the wrong side of the road. No, i wasnt drunk. I was trying to turn around on a city street.

    Thanks again.

Again, not a DQ for the agencies I am aware of. You should be fine. Just list them in the appropiate places on your application. Most departments will pull your driving history to verify.
Eunice: A .22? Oh you've gotta be kidding me. That's like bringing a knife to a gunfight.
Detective Greenly: Yeah, or bringing a really small gun... to a gunfight.

Just making sure. When you go thru a process like this you always worry. I need to remember that worrying does you about as good as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubble gum.

    Thanks again for the help!!!!!!

I've actually come to believe that this is part of the process, that they want you to stress out and worry about everything so that you really appreciate it when you make it through. I haven't received a formal offer of employment yet, just two conditionals and waiting for my physical/psych results, but the waiting is killing me. After working so hard to make it through the process I can't imagine doing anything to mess it up.
    good luck
