I am applying for a position as a correctional officer with my local county jail (Its actually not a police job, but Im keeping my options open. Don't hold it aginst me :D ). Test date is Dec. 7th. I all I have top do is pass the test and I am in. Already talked to one of the officers. Kind of wondering what I should do to prepare and what I should expect? Never took one before. Any advice?

Well the only test I took was job related, but I can probably still help ya a little:
Practice up on spelling (know the difference between their/there, no/know, etc.)
Basic math skills (simple multiplication/division)
Reading comprehension
As long as you made it through high school and aren't a complete ignoramus, you should be fine....-james
