    Bad Credit

I am new to the site!! I was just going to give my 2cents. The agency which I have been processing with does not discriminate on your credit even if you filed for a BANKRUPTCY. I am in the BI stage with my local agency, and I had to file a BANKRUPTCY due to me just getting DIVORCED and me having my own BUSINESS that went SOUTH(took a huge $$ drop). I was told as long as you have the DISCHARGE from your BANKRUPTCY that would not DQ from any agency. It does depend on the creditors though, you could not have filed BANKRUPTCY for (7)several MAXED out credit cards that would be an AUTO DQ with many agencies in my area!!!! Well GOOD LUCK.

"I personally believe that U.S. Americans are unable to do so because some people out there in our nation don't have maps and I believe that our education like such as in South Africa and the Iraq and everywhere like such as and I believe that they should our education over here in the U.S. should help the U.S. or should help South Africa and should help the Iraq and the Asian countries so we will be able to build up our future for us."

Our department doesn't even look at an applicant's credit score. Usually a credit score is something that banks and credit card companies look at to determine if they're going to approve you for a line of credit. There's a lot more that goes into one's credit score than late payments and charge offs. For example, if you have a high debt to income ratio, that can effect your credit score, but that doesn't necessarily mean that you make late payments or are irresponsible. With the low mortgage rates over the past few years, lots of lenders approved people for mortgages that exceeded the traditional debt to income ratios. That means that credit scores may be effected, however it doesn't mean that the people don't pay their debts.

As others have said, the total credit picture is more important. Bankrupcies are usually a killer, as are multiple accounts that have been sent to collection. Having minor credit problems in the past won't keep you from getting hired.
