Their selections page said something about some of the psych exams being conducted in October and some in November. It's getting close and I still haven't heard anything. Anyone have any info on what's going on?
(I know there was a long thread on CT SP previously but I know that some forums don't want you to restart old threads).

The letters for the Nov 12th exam should have been mailed this past Friday, or on this coming Monday if they allow the same 15 days notice to candidates that they did for the first round in October.

OK...I guess that makes sense.
Any idea on what the rest of the schedule will be like? They still have to do psych oral interviews, medical exam and final interview...and if they're talking about an academy start date in January -- even if it's at the end of January -- there will be a lot to do in a very short period of time. With the holidays coming, it might be a hectic few months.

Well that is the nature of the job, so get used to it now. I have to go into work today on my day off and ask the Lieutenant for the 19th off so they can post OT sign ups. Saturdays are thin on my shift and I want to give them as much time to fill the gap so someone from third shift doesn't get forced.

Thank you. You know when I went to signed up for the written exam, a Trooper told me it would take about 18 months. I'm in for the long haul but I have met a few people along the way that got offers from local departments and dropped out of the CSP process. Originally Posted by mobrien316

Good luck man. I do agree, the process is seriously way too long but for some reason everything with the CSP is that way. Take a look at the academy...local POST certification is 3-months vs. state academy which is 7-months. But if the anticipated start date is mid-January, you shouldn't have much left. Infact it almost seems like they are trying to rush everything now. Originally Posted by Wig Wag
