Is it typical to start an academy on a friday? I'm thinking it's so I can have the weekend to fill out all the insurance forms and stuff. Only 16 more days, but it feels like forever. I'm ready to get it going.

I know what you mean about it feeling forever. Once you're in though, a week will feel like a month. Or so it has with our Academy!

Our academy is only 4 months long. Then 4 months with an FTO and then 4 months on your own under supervision and then you're done with the prob year.

wow...I took an 80 hr instructor techniques class at our academy,,,and seeing all the gung ho new guys running and drills during their break,,,all saying "good morning sir" to me evertime someone passes....I was like,,,my god Im glad thats over.
In god we trust...all others keep your hands where I can see them.
