    passed LASD oral

Passed the oral, I was very worried about it. I am 38 and have never been to an employment interview except at 17 when joining the Navy. I was nervous and my lack of experience didnt help. They gave me a background packet and invited me to come back on 31 March. Thanks again for all the great pointers.

Yes, thats what I'm nervous about if I get into that section of the hiring process. I'm 21 and have been to one major interview for a security position at a hospital and bombed it. Really the reason I bombed it was because they gave us this form to fill out, an incident report and the guy didn't even give me a second to review it and just started rambling on with info. The only ones who new what they were doing were 2 guys who had previous jobs as security guys. Needless to say now that I look back at it, all these security guys there remind me of police officer "wannabe's". I'll sooner try to become a cop for the next 12 years rather then go down to that level of attitude. As of now I am sending out 2 applications with a 3rd coming up next week, so I will see. By the way congrats and sorry to get off the topic
