So, I took another depth perception test and I'm glad to say that I am okay and good to go concerning my medical. Hopefully my backgournd investigations will go well. Thanks to those that relied. Man, i feel like the whole process is taking forever. I guess it'll all be worth it in the end...for the good i hope.

When a Laser is coming at your eye I think it's better to find the most expensive place not the least expensive place...Canada is $690 per eye because it's Canada, everything there is cheaper.

I'll have to disagree with you on that because the way a person should look at it is like this, the place is cheaper because they have a higher flow of patients so therefore they can charge a cheaper price per person opposed to a place that only gets a couple of patients a day, they are forced to charge a higher price (kind of like WalMart vs. all other retailers). And since they have a high flow of patients, a person would know that there is a less likely chance of something going wrong because they have done thousands of people before you. And the techology is more cutting edge in Canada compared to the US because the process to get newer procedures approved in the US takes a lot longer thanks to the FDA then it does in Canada.

Places such as the above, are factory's that I would never feel comfortible or trust in doing with such a life altering surgery. Mine cost me a well worth 5g's and I can sleep at nite knowing that i got a top notich MD to preform the surgery. If price is an issue, I would not do the surgury. Do some research before u go under the laser.

I Just Went To Nassau County Civil Service Today To Speak To Them ,they Told Me They Cant Give This Info Before I Am Offered A Conditional Employment. They Said They Cant Give Any Medical Requirments Out Early Because Of Ada(disability Act). I Had Told Them Many Other Civil Service Depts. Are Giving This Info Out. There Reply Was Inturpetation Of The Law.

I Would Worry Less About The Eyesight Requirements And More About Your Inability To Grasp Basic Grammar Like not capitalizing the first letter of every word. Your posts are nearly impossible to read. I guarantee your application will be rejected immediately with this kind of writing. Nobody is perfect (especially me) but this is a pretty basic concept.
