previous supplement use

I was wondering what your thoughts were about this..... The andro supplement 1-AD has now been deemed illegal by the FDA as of this week. I used 1 bottle of 1-ad about 15 months ago at which time the supplement was legal, I pruchased it at GNC. Considering that the supplement was legal when I used it but it is now illegal how does that affect me? Will I be DQ'd for drug use? Thanks in advance

You'll be fine. Since you used the product while it was still legal to posess and use.

Now if you ordered the Adro from some where other than the US and used it now, that would be illegal.

Just as a good FYI. Stay away from most of the suppliments and natural remedies. There's so much stuff in there that hasn't been tested by the FDA or any one else to see what effect it can have.

For some reason diet supliments are not required to be tested. Damm near anything that's "natural" can be put in a bottle and sold. The FDA only steps in after enough people are reporting nasty side effects or death becase of a suppliment.

It was legal when you used, ergo you were engaging in a legal behavior. You won't be DQ'ed for doing something legal. Now, if you start using it now while it is illegal, that's a different story. We had a guy sweating bullets about using ephedra (which is also now banned by FDA) at a time when it was perfectly legal and available in your local grocery store. Needless to say it was no biggie for him (though we still give him hell about it :D ).
