Hello,
Question about my chances and any thoughts you might have. I have spent twenty years active duty military and will retire December 05. I have advanced on the enlisted side to Senior Chief (E-8) and then became a Limited Duty Officer. I will retire as an LTjg (O-2). I have a BA in Management.
I will look for employment in southern California. My negative past history is:
--1983: At age 16, I worked to deliver food and on Friday nights I would take (steal) my tip money from the till prior to receiving any tips. Throughout the night, tip money would go back into the till. Some nights did not come up even. The total that was ever stolen was less than $60.00 over six months. (I was never caught but will disclose).
--1984: Two tickets for possession of alcohol as a minor.
--1984: Ticket for discharging fireworks in city limits. (Fireworks were legal in the state, just not in city limits)
--1984: One flashing red light violation in which I hit another vehicle. License was suspended two years for not having insurance. (Originally Careless and Imprudent driving was reduced to flashing red light)
--1991: Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. Credit now is average, no past dues, homeowner.
--1992: Ran a stop sign and was ticketed. Paid.
That’s my issues; I welcome any thoughts on my chances.
