Well first off I am new here and thanks for all the info. I have an appointment for the NYPD tomorrow and was just wondering what chance do I have. I have a colorful past. I have been arrested, I have used drugs, and I have gotten a lot of tickets. My work background is great and my credit is cherry. I have not used any pot for over a year now and have never done cocaine. It has been almost three years since my last ticket and almost ten years since I have been arrested. But when I was under 18 I had some run ins with the law.

Chance? Yeah No Chance is a chance......how can you possibly even think about being a cop when you have a resume like that? Yes you may have changed...but to say that only last year was the last time you used MJ.....the investigators will no way want to pass you.....they may even do a warrant check on you to see if you are an easy collar.

even nypd wont accept you thats just to much of a colorful past especially the recent drug use within the past year. ive heard they are cracking down on the quality of hiring new recruits especially after one of the new recruits i believe it was the last class was caught by narcotics det's selling drugs out of his BMW with his shiny new nypd recruit uniform laid out on his backseat
