The CT State Police website says they're doing the poly in January. I still haven't heard anything and I'm wondering what's up.
The site also advises against contacting them to check on the status of your application, yet I'm wondering if it would be advisable to give them a call .

Be smart! If they warn against contacting them for status checks, then don't do it. Use your head, as you'll need it if you eventually become a LEO.

Don't call. They will call you. I just dropped out of the process. I had my polygraph scheduled for Tuesday morning. They will send you a letter soon, don't worry.
