Hi everyone. I wanted to apply to LAPD when im 20 and a half, i was wondering if anyone knows how selective of a departement it is. I heard stories that they are not selective compared to most departments and I was wondering if this was true. By the way when I apply I will have a high school diploma, and 20 to 30 college units done, no degree, or military experience. I also heard if you are a certain minority it easier to get hired also, that can't be true can it? Well I'm asian(Thai/chinese mix) if it matters. Thank you.

dude, I'm Thai and i'm a NYPD recruit..just go for it and i think lapd doesn't require college credit..
