NYC Corrections for NYPD DQ candidate

Hey guys, I just took the test for corrections this past weekend. I was DQ'd from the NYPD process in DEC 2003, I am currently appealing it. I was just wondering, if Im a psych DQ from the NYPD, what are my chances of getting on NYC DOC? Am I just gonna get DQ'd like automatically? Also, does everyone get an appeal with the Civil Service Commission for their DQ? How much longer do you think Im lookin at? I was also wondering, does anyone know anything about the NYC Department of Investigation(DOI)? Are they a good agency, are they law enforcement? Is it hard to get in? Any info guys you know I appreciate. Semper Fi! :(

good chance you will not get hired by DOC as soon as they see you failed the psych they prob wont take you. plus stay away from DOC not worth it

Do they sent you a letter said that you failed nypd psych?? And when did they sent the notice letter, two weeks after you took psych??
