Does anyone know if the written exam for NYPD expires, indefinite, etc.?

usually they stay active for 4 years. the have a list of tests they are currently hiring from on their website

Test officially have a 2 year life-span. At the two year mark, they look at the scores they have processed. If they have not gotten far, they will extend the list 2 more years. If they goat far, they let it expire. At 4 years, it is dead no matter what.
