I want to become a Police Officer

I want to become a police officer can someone tell me what the process is. I'm in college now what are the best classes to take.

Second, contact your local PD and ask them for more information or a qualifications list.

First of all, welcome to RP. Do you want a job with your local PD or are you willing to "branch out" to say a neighboring jurisdiction, or the state police? Or another state? I've learned that with every answer received about the choice of this profession usually generates more questions. MlBruehlly is right, start with the search function. You'll probably find that some of your questions have already been asked here before and you may find some answers quickly. Aside from that, your local department may have a home page with an employment ad and the process detailed within.
