I'm curious to know what you did 6 years ago. You should really listen to TX...even though he's a bit in your face, but he's probably one of few posters I agree with when it comes down integrity and witholding the truth then trying to give excuses to justify it. Take all the advise in stride and learn from them. Good luck.....
here is what he said...Originally Posted by Hoya

One bad choice in life can have reverberating effects down the road.
re: the rhetoric/definition thing.
One last comment. My prior post dealt with the definition of the word. I do not disagree with your opinion that it sounds as if the person is shirking responsibility. I only wanted to point out that this perception has to do with the words connotation as opposed to it's definition. By definition, the speaker is choosing a correct word. However, they may not be choosing the best word if that word connotes a failure to take responsibility for their actions.
Poor decision/choice made 5-6 years ago.
Automatic DQ, you think?
This is a tough hurdle your going to have to leap over. Lying under oath to a judge no matter what the incident is a serious integrity issue. I think your going to have a hard time getting that situation accepted by a police agency. Being crediable in an investigation is as important as the probable cause.Originally Posted by mxwelch

Eunice: A .22? Oh you've gotta be kidding me. That's like bringing a knife to a gunfight.
Detective Greenly: Yeah, or bringing a really small gun... to a gunfight.
