I can get over the fence, but the way I can do it is to jump and sort of plant my feet on the fence, not in the fence, then I hold that position for like a second a hoist my self up on the bar and then jump over.

My question is the academy fence real sturdy, or is it wabbly and loose. because the way I do it I need a fence which is real sturdy.

Bishop my agility is very soon and I'll definately keep you posted.

I bought a new pair of sneakers, they definately help releiveing some pain during the run. I'd recommend to anyone having trouble to buy a pair of Nikes. New balance is also good for a wide foot.

I ended up taking the gun out of the circle one too many times and disquailified myself. This is beating me up. I remember running to the trigger pull and saying to myself "this wasn't that hard, and my time must be pretty good". The officers told me about the tutoring that is offered (which I never thougth I would actually need). I am going to work on my arm strength, just trying to do as much as I can before I re-test to make sure I do not encounter the same issue. Funny how the one thing that was the least of my worries was the factor in me failing.

    3) Hold arm out and pull the "trigger" doing three sets of yoru max, with a three minute rest between each set. Do this twice a day for week to ten days and you will be fine!

The NYPD guns are "adjusted" to have a twelve pound trigger pull. This device is eleven pounds and as close as you will get.
You could also just go down to your local gunstore, buy a used pistol of same make/model, put NY spring in it and practice trigger pull and marksmanship at the same time.

Nevermind, that's a felony and instant DQ in NY I think . Better stick with the "fight like you train" amazon.com thingy .

Thanks for the info, just purchased the gripmaster, hopefully I will be successful in my
2nd attempt. Do you know how many times you can take over the agility? Although I do NOT plan on having this same problem the second time around lol. Operation "trigger pull" is in full effect.

You need an "ankle weight" too wrapped around your wrist or fist if you can (while holding the grip thing).

Trust me...this technique works. Do some digging on here as I gave it out a few times. Every time they did it, they passed.

Stop worrying about how many times....there is only ONE more time and YOU WILL PASS becuase you worked hard. Period!!!!!!

But please do it in a brand new thread. Opening up threads that are this old is frowned upon here at RP. Nobody has posted in this thread for over 7 1/2 YEARS before you brought it back as a walker!!
