Need help knowing what is appropriate to wear

Ok I did the interview, and then was asked to fill out a PHQ. I mailed that off last week and just got a call today to go back to fill out some kind of questioner. I guess this is part of the process to see if they want to do a background on me, but my question is, what should I wear, a full blown suit like the interview, a suite without a jacket, or just some khakis and a shirt. Or something else, I don’t want to go in there unprofessional looking and I don’t want to overkill.

I would always dress nice if you ever have to go to the dept in person. A suit may be a little much but a shirt and tie or slacks and button down would be appropriate. But if you are already in a suit for your job then go ahead and go with that. But you should always look professional if you are stopping by. Just my advice.

I would always wear a suit when conducting bussiness with a possible employer. Can't hurt.

Yea exactly...if you are going to wear a shirt and tie...might as well throw the jacket on also. I would wear a suit.

you guys posative a full suite wont be overkill. She said it was a questioneer.
I still cant believe i have to drive 1.5 hour for a questioneer, but i gues i should just be happy t be continuing on in the process.

Our department was doing questionaires this morning, and only one guy came in a full blown suit. Three did the shirt and tie thing, and the rest (about 6) wore kahki's with nice shirts. IMO the kahki's and a nice shirt would be just fine.

I would recommend upper-casual clothes for most things.

Save the suit for the interview.
