    Hired

    GREAT NEWS!!!

    I just received a call from the Barnstable Police Department, MASS offering me a conditional offer of employment for the position of full-time police officer. Now all I have to do is pass the physical, psychological and PAT and then it's off to the academy.

    Thank you to everyone for your knowledge and encouragement throughout this process.

    congrats. From what ive heard, getting a LEO position in mass is nearly imposible. Did you apply to any other departments?

    Dan:
    I did apply to roughly 5 departments over the past couple years or so and worked as a Reserve for a yerar... but the department that recently hired me full-time was my number one preference. :D
