I was recently disqualified from my city's police department after completing the entire process. During the polygraph I was given a packet to fill out to make sure all of my answers matched up with the answers previously provided. I filled it out, but had questions on some of the drug questions. I told the polygrapher of 2 different incidents. On time where I did a whip-it at age 7-9, not knowing what I was doing, but doing it because my brother told me to. I also told her about a time I was sick and took robotussin not in the recommended amount. My friends told me I could get high off it and I didn't believe it. I told her these things because I felt that I should clarify it to make sure I was completely open with them. I passed the polygraph and got a letter of disqualification a month later, stating that there were things that weren't disclosed on the original background questionnaire and that was considered lying. I appealed the decision and have an appeal interview in the next week. Any advice?
