As of now I have 31 college credits ( will have 46 in May)..just wondering if a police dept. says you need 60 credits to be hired do they allow you to go through the whole hiring process with my amount of credits ( for NYPD)>?

We don't have such a requirement but I know a dept that does and asked. They require that you meet the requirements at the time of application as there is no guarantee a person will finish the credits. The only exception is for age, as long as the person is the required age by the hiring date, they do allow that.

The Departments in my area are the same. You need to have the credits at the time you apply. They also wave the credits if you have prior military.
And your whiney *** crybaby excuse would be....
