Hello,
I am concerned on behalf of a friend of mine. She recently finished her applications to become a police office in Ontario, Canada, right before going on a trip. While gone she lent me her car. I mistakenly made a right turn between 8am and 6pm at an intersection that did not permit this. 100% guilty, 100% my fault. I have paid the ticket, and my insurance has been affected accordingly. Unfortunately, she is freaking out a bit as a result. She is concerned that since it was in her car it will show up on her records and as a result have an effect on her application and eventual acceptance to one of the police forces she has applied to.
I want to put her mind at ease, or prepare her for the worst case scenario.
Does anyone know if this can affect her record or chances of being accepted?
Any information would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Keith
