thanks for all of the advice fellas, it really is useful even if some of it is a little redundant (sp.?), but i guess that kinda stresses the importance. as far as the drugs and alcohol part of it goes, believe it or not, im a senior in high school and i have never used a drug or even drank a beer, or any other type of alcoholic beverage, nor do i have any desire to. the college i plan on going to (a community college here in pa, mansfield university) isnt badly priced at all, but it never hurts to save more. i have a visitation day in a month or so, and ill see if i can find out more about the internship policy, is there anything else i should ask about while im there?

Yes.

Ask how important proper punctuation and capitalization is in a Police Report.

... and you didn't actually write out the line above?

This is a cop forum, we are not in High School and not on Facebook.

Have you noticed anyone else taking your shortcuts in the other answering posts?

Sorry, I just assumed that this was a bit of a laid back setting. I'll try typing with proper grammar and punctuation from now on. If you catch me doing otherwise, please feel free to hit me up with some constructive critisism.

I didn't mean to come across arrogant or anything, I'm just not used to being on a forum and having to use proper grammer. Thanks again for all the advice guys.

And a serious question?... Wouldn't it be "...and capitalization ARE in a Police Report?" not trying to be smart, It's a serious question. I'm not sure, I may be wrong?
