Hi i am a junior at Iowa State University majoring in criminal justice and have been having troubles trying to figure out internship stuff. Not sure where to look or how to start. If i should be looking for paid or unpaid. I am trying to find something in the narcotics or drug field as that is what i want to go into upon graduation. Any help would be much appreciated...Thanks.
It is REALLY bad form to come on here, posting the same stinking question multiple times. Pick a spot that you think is most appropriate and post it ONCE. There will be no more warnings. You will get a little time-out to think about it with the next violation.
(...and note that I did not answer your question. Many other members and me do not respond as warmly to such behavior. Also, try a search, this type of thing has been asked and answered before.)

Not sure where to look or how to start? How about going down to your local department and asking them about it? Even talk to them on the phone! The answer to all of your questions is that.

Check out USAjobs.gov. There aren't a lot of internships on there, but I found mine on there and it was the most amazing experience. Also try ignet.gov. Offices of Inspector General probably won't be dealing much with drugs. However, I did my internship with the Office of Inspector General for the Social Security Administration and the experience I got there will definitely help me start my law enforcement career, whether in the drug field or not.

USAjobs.gov may have some internships listed, but it's not the best resource to use to find an internship. The best advice was given above, call the agencies near you and ask them directly. I've seen in the past the US Secret Service post on their website that they weren't taking student positions, but calling the local office came back with a different answer. Also, state and local LE agencies don't post anything on USAjobs.gov since they are not federal jobs, and there's plenty of good internships with state and local agencies.

I did my internship in Pella, and had a blast.
look for unpaid internships, and just start calling departments around your area. the Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement is hard to get last moment. but most towns and counties have a drug task force that they are a part of.

What about your school? Internships were always set up by my schools, albeit I wasn't a CJ major. Regardless the major your school should be able to help. Check with career services, your dept head, or go to your registrar. Also, I would talk to your professors.
Most internships are unpaid but you are receiving college credit. Some may give you a small stipend of some sort.
I think you may find information on internships on PD's websites. I recall seeing something on local CT sites. As already mentioned USAjobs is a good place to look as well.
