Well you probably don't know me well enough so I'll give you a little more backround on myself cause I'm the important on here.
I tried MJ just like 32 times but I only inhaled three times at the most.
The felonies were a really long time ago (about two years) so they won't hurt me at this point.

To some people it sounds like a stupid question but I was also taught that no serious question is stupid. What's common since to a CJ student or LEO is not common sense to anyone else.
The only way you can legally carry a real badge is if you are a campus security officer, and even though the laws vary state to state, unless you are a sworn LEO odds are you can't even bring a gun on campus. Most community colleges have security. Mine had a few security officers and one sworn LEO that carried a weapon. Now when you move towards university level, the one I went to had a police department. Even though the were basically campus security, they were sworn State LEOs who went to a training academy, carried weapons, and had full arrest authority.
As far as the felonies affecting the right to carry, it depends on what the offenses were. Best way to find out about that answer is to contact the local sheriff's office or state police.

I mean they can give ME the right 2 carry my gat. You ever hear of the 2nd ammendment and all dat stuf.

Heh, this made me laugh. Unfortunately, I've actually seen serious threads close to this where the topic poster was actually serious and had felonies/was in rehab. So even though this is fake, I might as well bite.
lol u people make me laugh dont you know you cant be a cop with two felonies you can only have one its one felony or three missdomeeners unless your felonies were hard drugs (not marywana) trust me on this one I know I'm 28 and this is my fifth year as a CJ student and I am going to soon be working for either the DEA or USMS or FBI whoever calls first and hires me cause I'm so awesome.
Okay like I might as well tell you cuz I figure WTH this is all like internit an no is eva gonna find out.

Was the guy you shot trying to steal your cocaine cause if he was and he threatened to hurt you or brandished a weapon of any kind thats armed robbery and since you acted in self defense it shouldnt count so you should be okay
You're new(er) so I'll give you a quick heads up. Pafindr is guilty of At Least 2 major felonies that I'm aware of - misrepresenting himself to be a true-blue American and operating a rogue Hummus terrorist cell in Florida.
You should see the lengths this guy goes to - posting a picture he found in a wallet (of a cowboy and his pickup truck and guitar) and claiming it's him. This guy isn't even a rhinestone cowboy - he's a sequin cowboy. If he's got a guitar, you can bet there is plastic explosive in it and he's on his way to the nearest airport. He's never even heard of Shania and his favorite song is Janet Jackson's What Have You Done For Me Lately. The closest thing he's come to a pick up truck is the ice cream truck he's been driving while casing the local sensitive infrastructure facilities. My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw him make a phony delivery to his cohorts at 31 Flavors last night. But sadly, since we can't waterboard anymore, we'll probably never get the truth out of him... :(
