I've put up a new area to try out and see how it goes (thank you to Citicop for the suggestion!).
This area is a bit more specific and allows students, or future students to ask questions to existing Criminal Justice students (or very recent CJ students). I'm not going to through and start verifying CJ status, but rather just ask that this area be answered by CJ students primarily. And of course anyone who is an expert as in a teacher, instructor, etc., then of course please feel free to answer questions here. But anyway, we'll give it a try and see if it can benefit others.
Thanks again Citicop for the suggestion.

Yeah, that will be a problem; hopefully, it can remain civil. If it takes off and does well, then maybe we can start some type of verification system, but it's a lot of work.

Well I certainly don't want you to shatter your arse verifying and monitoring a group of ego'ed college kids - you guys do that enough with the ego'ed verified's.
Perhaps if we're very clear about the sections purpose. Say, that it's to be a place for students to ask students about curriculum and course of study - not to ask LE operations questions (that's ask a cop) or a place to trade homework (nothing like having cheating on assignments on a police site). Maybe if we give them their own little playland they can confine their GiganticPinky82 styled plethora of BS postings to one place.
There will be sooo many ginormous melons full of inexperience....
You were there four score and seven years ago and the melon is still there...:p
I think the only thing is that the Verified shouldn't be too sarcastic. If ask-a-cop is anything to show for the Verified's are a little bit too....evil in their jokes

Realpolice I do like the facat that you guys are willing to Verify CJ status if it gets rolling, but I don't think any student needs any type of Special Badge.
I do just fine with my Supporting Member one, and I'll gladly help out anyone who is willing to listen and not go off saying they know all.
