Your post is very difficult to read (proofreading can go along way). It almost seems to say you were involved in a robbery where a gun was found on the scene. If this is true, we're not here to be your defense counsel. If that's not what you're stating I'd suggest spending a little more time on ensuring your sentences are actually readable.

was your gun reported stolen the same day it was recovered in a robbery?

So, your gun that was stolen was recovered during a separate robbery investigation? I presume you are wondering when you will get it back? If it is in fact your gun, It may be held as evidence until the robbery investigation is completed/disposed.
