    Moving Violation on Application

So I was filling out an application for a police department and they ask me to list all moving violations that have been issued to me. But if I was issued a speeding ticket, but later the charge was amended to defective equipment, does this count against me as a moving violation? I know defective equipment is not classified as a moving violation but does the original charge still count against me. Thank you

You answered your own question. "All moving violations that were issued to you." Regardless of what the case was pleaded down to, were you not issued a citation for a moving violation?

All the applications I had that asked for citations asked what the citation was for as well as what was the disposition of the citation. Check and see if there is a place where you can put that it was issued as a moving violation, and then, like ET said above, another little place where you can write down what the disposition of the citation was, as in it was plead down to a non-moving and you were found guilty.
