    Help pleasee!

Hi, I am 18 years old and i know that when i decide to move out my parents will try to keep me from getting my things. The main stuff i am worried about is my laptop, clothes, and my guitar. These items were all given to me by them so im worried that they are considered my parents.

Legally, you can move out. Any property is a civil matter between you and your parents, not the police or the justice system.

Aubry, first of all, welcome to RP from the Florida Panhandle.

Secondly, now that you're here, please take a couple seconds next time and try to place your thread in the appropriate forum. This does not seem like you're writing a scene for a book / screenplay / story, so therefore should not be in the Writers' Questions forum. This one is for those things I just mentioned above. Your question would be more appropriate in the regular Ask-A-Cop forum, which is where I will move it now.

Thirdly, as has been mentioned, stuff is civil in nature and not criminal.
