    PA Non-Traffic Citation

Hey, I was hoping to receive some guidance on this subject. I was being dumb and received a non traffic citation for obstructing highway or other public passage. I was curious about a few things. What are the consequences of my actions? Will this show up on a background check? There is no fine amount on the citation and I am curious as to what I am looking at. There are also no directions on the back, so I am not 100% positive on what to do. Any guidance or help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

It is a SUMMARY offense. While it is technically an arrest , it is a local arrest and not part of any nationwide database. The worst punishment you can get is a $300 fine and or up to 90 days in jail. The jail is reserved for repeat offenders.

There should be an address on the front of the ticket for both the district court and the police station. You need to go to the DIstrict Court where they will tell you the fine and your options.
