Stephen1946- It appears that you need to be more concentrated on one item at a time. I suggest that you take the advice given, concerning documenting all your problems and consulting with the landlord. If your landlords answers are not what you want to hear and obviously nothing is going to happen to better your situation, move. Settle this problem first then do your own research on Ronald Regan.

Thankyou for writing......where do i find this 'thread' you are moving me to? Any advise is great and I thank all of you! Do you really feel I should buy a gun? I'm always nice to everyone here and live a block away from the l.a.p.d. and they have always been and are still very helpfull but have told me if there are no verbal or physical threats then i can't do anything. Although I did call the 'Senior Lead Officer' and left him a detailed message. stephen

when I go to 'Ask a Cop' area I can see my original post and it says that I have a lot of replies but how can I get to those or is this the area where they would all be?

and what kind of a leader was Reagan besides being a moderate to fair( and that's being nice on my part ) actor ?

Stephen, I think I can see the main problems here:

When you originally posted your question you placed it in a forum called "Writers' Questions" and I moved it to the forum called "Ask-A-Cop". Please understand that I did that because we try to keep our "threads" (an discussion on a forum consisting of an original post like yours and then followed by replies from either the original poster or other posters) organized into forums where they belong. Your thread referenced a problem you were having and wanted advice on, yet you posted it in the area where writers go to ask questions about stories they are writing (fictional circumstances, not for real problems like yours). Therefore, I moved your thread into the correct forum.

It does seem like you don't have a problem replying as you've been replying to it for a few days now, so you should know by now how to do that. When you see your thread in the Ask-A-Cop forum and it tells you how many replies you have, just click on your thread title and you obviously can see all the replies to your original post. So far, as of this writing, you have 16 replies on two pages. 10 of those replies are your own. Hope that explains that stuff...

Now, as for bringing up Reagan, I was probably just as confused as the next guy where THAT came from. But again, I believe I can explain to you:

If you look beneath my post (all the words I'm writing to you here), you'll see a line. Under that line is my SIGNATURE, which will show up on EVERY post I make. I did NOT put that there to have someone start a debate about President Reagan in a thread they started to ask about their neighbors harrassing them. If you would like to debate President Reagan or any other political figure, I would direct you to go to the Politics | Religion | Controversy forum and begin a new thread there. If you do that, you will save lots of confusion as well as begin to really understand why we separate threads into their corresponding forums!
