    Questions from a Student

Hello all I have a request for any police officers outside California that could answer a few questions for me. I am a college student in California and a Criminal Justice Major. I have been tasked to write a paper about police work and I thought it would be interesting to get the same questions I asked of officers in California and ask them to a few officers outside my state.

The questions are basic so hopefully it will not take up to much of your time. Anyways if anyone can help me please PM me here or send and Email to the address in my profile, I would greatly appreciate it. I will then send you some questions that you can fill out at your convenience. Thank you so much.

    Welcome to RP.

We generally do not like answering questions for the purposes of your homework. You will not get an officers name , dept name or location. The answers we give may not agree with the laws in your county or state. It also doesn't look like you were willing to leave your keyboard to go and talk to a REAL police officer in person. We could answer your questions but you would have to list your source as " mcsap" or " Cat-Doc " or how about " Switchback " ? A news reprorter certainly won't interview us on-line.

The BEST option is to contact your local police / sheriff and ask to meet with an officer to do this. It shows initiative and you will get the officer's name , dept name and a local influence on your report that we can't give you. You also may end with with a contact that you can use again down the road.
