My boyfriend has been on probation and was eligible for release. The day after being eligible, he was arrested for Public Disorderly Conduct. Despite the arrest, he submitted his paperwork for early release in hopes they would not find the arrest that happend 20 or so days ago (less than 30)
If his probation is a transfer to the state he lives in, what are the chances of them finding out of his arrest when they do a background check. He has not been convicted of anything, received a PR bond for the Misdeamanor and a court date next month. They mentioned as part of the early probation termination, they perform a GCIC (Georgia) check and NCIC check. His probation is in another state. My question, when these background checks are done, aren't they normally to see if the probationer has any outstanding new arrest warrants but not so much "new arrest" especially since this one doesn't have a conviction or dispotion. Also, how long does it take for information to get to NCIC?
