I have came up with many on my own, but was wondering if as police officers, I may be presented with some new questions I have not thought of. Here are some of my questions:
Does my course of action seem logical or make sense to me?
Does the solution I choose pass the test of sportsmanship?
Will the results be beneficial to all, or just myself?
What effect will the decision have on others?
What effect will it have on me both personally and professionally?
After I have made the decision, how well do I think of myself when I look back at what I
have done?
What difference would it make if everyone, even the media, know about my decision?
Thank you for any thoughts!
You were given an assignment and are seeking input from officers on what other questions, if any, should be added to the list you already compiled. How is that not seeking help with your homework?
We get a lot of questions like these, and the usual answer is to tell people we don’t do their homework for them, but if they need to speak with a cop they can go to their local PD and talk to someone there.
