    Future Plans

I am 18 and in my first year or college. My future plans are to be a police officer for either state or county. My senior year of high school i tried marijuana for the first time and have only smoked it twice my whole life. It was more of an experiment than anything. My entire family is in law enforcement. My question is, will my past experimentation of drug use harm my chances of getting into law enforcement? I know that i will never do it again because it can really screw up my future! I plan to apply to the state police after i graduate in 3 years.
    Thanks,
    Kody

Trying marijuana won't DQ you. But, if you KNEW you wanted to be a cop, and tried it anyways knowing it could screw up your future, you'll have a harder time explaining that to them.

The self destructive decision making that you did choosing to smoke marijuana fully knowing it could hinder your entire future will be scrutinized more than the use of the drug in the first place.

They've got us surrounded? Good. Now we can fire in any direction, those bastards wont get away this time

An amateur will train until they get it right. A professional will train until they can't get it wrong.
