    Answers needed

    Hi All,
    I have 4yrs military police experience and 9yrs experience in corrections for both juevenile and adults and I was a K9 handler is this experience enough to possibly secure a position in a police department ?

    I would say so. Only way to find out is to apply. Keep in mind that some agencies may have a college requirement.

    Sure, but the job market sucks in a lot of places. In some areas there's even former cops who were laid off applying for the few police jobs available, so the competition is tight. Only way to guarantee not being hired is to not apply.
