Hi, I'm new to all of this but have a question

Is there someone who I can notify to check out a job posted on Craigs List? There's something suspicious about the job I applied for and the response I received. I have been in the work force for 40 years and never came across anything like this.

Would need more info. Maybe Google the business name and see what type of response. If they require you pay any money prior to you working there, its most likely a scam.

Ditto with packing/re-shipping, or anything involving financial transactions.

Be VERY suspicious of any job offer on C-list that is not local at a verifiable address in your town. If it invloves someone from another town or country and you have to either buy something from them or send them money......IT IS A SCAM !!

There are some legitimate offers there , but just be suspicious.

What kind of personal information did they want about you and your family?
