I slapped my teenage daughter for back talking and refusing to go to bed at midnight one
night and was charged with misdemeanor child abuse. I pled guilty and was fined and did a few days in jail. I am now ordered to appear for a review hearing in the Utah district
court. Could someone please tell me what this is? I can't find it online and I am appearing at 9:00 a.m. today.

If you can't find it on line, we probably can't either. Having worked child abuse, I suspect it's some kind of review regarding parenting. You may have to take some parenting classes or something to learn better methods to discipline her other than hitting her. I'm just guessing, but if you've done your jail time and paid the fine, I can't think of anything else it might be.
