    state inspection rejection

If my car is registered in VA, and failed the VA state inspection (I have a rejected sticker, with 15 days to get it fixed), can I get a ticket in MD?

I am about to leave on vacation (that would put me past the 15 day time period) and my car would most likely be sitting in a Long Term airport parking lot (in Baltimore MD) for the entire time.

I figure that it is pretty likely a cop will see my car in the more than a week time period its sitting there, and would notice the rejected sticker.

Is a VA state inspection failure part of MD jurisdiction? Can I get a ticket?

    Thanks!

I don't know about down there, but in NY, you can get an expired inspection ticket for any vehcile, no matter what state it is regsitered in, as long as it is expired.
-In God we trust. All others, put your hands on the car and don't move.

Not here, we can only enforce vehicles that are registered in PA.

I like when I see VA inspection stickers on windshields then after they pass in my side view mirror I see they have PA plates. No sir doesn't work that way.
