    drug policy

This is not anti cop. Do not delete this. It is my right to post this here! Cigarettes kill 400,000 people a year alcohol kills 100,000 and they are legal and toxic. . Alcohol causes 50 % of fatal traffic accidents in the US! Why then do you want to bust people for using something that kills no one, this is ridiculous and future generations will view you as evil, hypocritical, wasteful and just plain stupid! I believe that marijuana does cause social problems and can cause memory loss and other side effects however how can you compare memory loss to death and the horrible suffering that comes along with cancer and other diseases caused by tobacco and alcohol. You prosecute people for growing a plant that kills no one yet what about the people producing tobacco and alcohol and legal prescription drugs? Prescription drugs kill 20,000 people a year! I feel sorry for you and the federal government who allow deadly products to be mass produced and marketed to the public yet “try” and prevent less harmful ones from being consumed. When you are dead everyone will remember you as someone who was only doing their job regardless of its stupidity and harm to innocent people. You do not stand for what is right or justice, you just you do whatever it takes to earn you salary regardless who it hurts. You are no different than a rapist, you rape people of their rights and you get off doing it! Are you brain washed? Can you not see or care for the scientific facts? No you can’t you are a sheep, you follow wherever they lead even off a cliff of nonsense and corporate greed. Please E-mail me back and tell me why you harass and prosecute people for a less harmful plant? No one has ever over dosed on marijuana, you could take thousands of pure THC pills at one time and you would not die. Aspirin and caffeine kill 2500 people every year, yet you don’t have laws banning them, is memory loss worse than DEATH? If you say yes you are lying to me and to yourself! Also marijuana is not carcinogenic (even with very heavy use), why, they believe that the THC kills aging cells preventing them from becoming cancerous (UCLA 2002), for this study please read this short report from the Washington post, study finds no link between cancer and marijuana! Cigarettes that kill hundreds of thousands of people they are carcinogenic, causing a 20 fold increase in cancer cases? That’s ok to you?
Please don’t tell marijuana is federally illegal, that does not tell my why it is illegal. Do you believe in the laws you prosecute people under or are you just doing your job? PLEASE let me know! Am I missing something? Set me straight!
When you go to the hospital and they ask you, do you do any drugs, if you say yes, I use marijuana, regardless if you were high at the time of the accident or even if you haven’t smoked in months they count it as a trip to the emergency room CAUSED by marijuana. This is bull**** and you know it so don’t tell me it causes thousands of hospital visits that is BS.

    OVER GROW THE DRUG CARTELLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Alcohol, when it was illegal, was produced and distributed by thugs and gangsters; now that it is legal it is produced and distributed by small business and corporations so the argument that the drug cartels would simply move here and grow it is ridiculous. We as Americans would produce it! Every time you shut down marijuana grow you are putting money in the hands of the murderous drug cartels. Is this your intention I don’t think so.
Please stop the madness! Future generations will judge us all! Over grow the government and the drug cartels! Thanks for reading this! Please prove me wrong! I think for the most part cops do what is right!

Baloney. As is most of your post.
Apparently, I'm supposed to be more angry about what Mitt Romney does with his money than what Barack & Michelle Obama do with mine

We do not debate drug legalization on this forum as a matter of policy.

You do NOT have the "right" to post here, it's a private forum and the site owners and mods have the right and ability to determine what is or is not appropriate here. If you want to debate or discuss matters which the owners of this site do not want posted, you have the right to start your own site where you can determine the content.

The police do not make policy, they enforce policies put into place by legislatures. If you wish the law to change, it is there you must start.

Posting further threads with similar content will jeopardize your posting privileges here.
