I have a weird question.

Do the USMS Conair flights transport Military prisioners also? Conair uses my ramp, and this morning along with the usual motley assortment of Feds and locals, there was a Naval Lt. Commander (unarmed) and a couple of Navy security guys (armed) out there this morning. It was the first time in 7 years that the Military has had people out on my ramp to meet Conair.

I would say yes as both are federal prisoners but honestly that's just a guess.

JPATS supports the federal judiciary through its scheduling and transportation responsibilities. JPATS transports sentenced prisoners who are in the custody of the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) as well as ICE criminal/administrative aliens to hearings, court appearances and detention facilities. JPATS also provides regular international flights for the removal of deportable aliens. Military and civilian law enforcement agencies use JPATS to shuttle their prisoners between different jurisdictions at a fraction of what commercial sources would charge

I was seriously thinking about joining the JPATS as a contract officer a couple of years ago, but Switch kind of talked me out of it. (He probably doesn't realize he talked me out of it, but he did!)
