I was thinking of putting amber flashing lights in the rear window of my car for when i come up to an accident i was curious if it would violate any laws?

I don't see what the difference in having them would be over the regular emergency flashers on your car. Just use them when you're parked.

Yes, it's a good idea to use the factory hazard lights already in your car no matter what state you're in.

Who are you to stop at an accident you are not involved in? Why do you need lights to intervene in a situation you have no role in?

Why not become a volunteer FF or EMT and than you can LEGALLY put extra lights on your car ?

If you are a firefighter or EMT I am sure there are police officers at these accidents in your state ask them.

In my state they would be legal. Anything is legal except for red and blues. Why would you not just stop your car out of the way? Exactly how many accidents do you happen to come upon daily?
