I have a question about becoming a police officer. I was recently diagnosed with glaucoma. I am 20 years old and I've wanted to become a cop all my life. I'm wondering if i still can become a cop?

smheiduk, first off, Welcome to RP from the Florida Panhandle. Usually we ask our newest members to go to the New Member Introductions forum and post a thread there introducing yourself, as coming into our online home and peppering us with questions is considered bad form here.
Also, we have a ton of information on this site, and a very comprehensive Search function. We would also ask that before posting a question (and after doing your intro), you use the Search function to see if your topic has been asked before and possibly answered.
So, tell us a bit about yourself, and then dig into the site, really explore the space! Hope you can find the answers you're looking for.

We would not be inclined to hire someone who has a pre-existing medical condition that could easily have an effect in how you do your job. Since you have it now , what is the prognosis over the next 5-10 years from a doctors point of view ?
