    License plate question NJ

Hello, I'm interested in buying a "euro-plate". I can get a euro styled plate with NJ and the NJ seal on the left side (where the EU symbol would normally go), if I was to also put my actually license plate number on it, do you think I would be bothered by cops for it, or fined? NJ requires 2 plates, so although this one would be different in style, it still clearly says it's a NJ plate with my actual number. I would still have my standard license plate on the rear as well.

    Thank you in advance.

Probably not going to work unless you get it from the state of NJ.

Go right ahead, a trooper I used to work with loved Euro style tags up by Ft Riley.
Probable cause anytime someone wants to stop you.

You just said it: Euro= Europe --- US= United States, means it wont work, you will get stop plenty of times.

If it didn't come to you from the hands of a DMV / RMV / whatever they call it in Joizey, it's not going to fly.

I would never ever bother running a euro plate even if it had a known state's number/letter configuration and state seal. I'd just hit a few switches to turn the lights on and the pen comes out. I honestly find these sort of aftermarket money-dumps a petpeeve, and personally prefer to grab someone with this nonsense on their car than for someone going a bit over the limit.

In my state it would be a citation for an imitation plate and it would be siezed as evidence.
Excuse me Officer, I have a stupid Question. "No problem, I've got a stupid answer for you!"

If you read the MV regs in NJ, it states you MUST DISPLAY TWO ISSUED license plates. The answer to your question is NO!
-In God we trust. All others, put your hands on the car and don't move.
