A ride along when I was 21 convinced me Law Enforcement was the career for me.
The rest is history, almost ancient.
Sheesh.

It will be interesting to see if my daughter decides to become a police officer after she does a ride along.

We allowed limited civilian ride-alongs but restricted them to only certain beats with a four hour max. Sworn riders were given more latitude.
