College credits from two different schools.

    Hi guys!

I would like to get into the NYPD. Right now I have 30 college credits from Suffolk County Community College (SUNY school in Long Island). I will be moving to Brooklyn and plan to attend some classes at the Brooklyn College as to complete 30 more credits which would leave me with 60 in total when combining both schools.

Is it acceptable to combine both schools when applying to the NYPD?

    Thanks!

Yes, provided that they are both properly accredited schools. It's the total hours that matter, not where you got them.

I agree with Citi as it doesn't matter where the credit hours come from. But you may want to check with the Brooklyn college and see if the Suffolk County college classes will transfer.

Due to the fact that colleges are out to make money I'd be very surprised if all 30 of your credit hours transferred over as an Associate’s degree is only 64 credit hours.
    Wrong door, buddy
