Gentlemen-

I may be in the minority here, but I think his actions as stated (pulling over, selling the bike, quitting the club, not keeping those kind of "friends" after, and giving all requested info to the officer about those who fled) say some good things about the OP.

He made a bad choice, and I think he knows that. Given some time between him and this incident, I don't see a permanant DQ here.

I would like to see him not fight the charge too hard, and plea guilty to the original charge, or whatever plea the prosecutor offers due to his cooperation, and pay the fine promptly.

But I think some of you are being too hard on him right now.

Appreciate that, and I think you're the first person who has a good hold of my personality. Sucks to hear that I may need time in between that ticket and getting hired but thats life and I'm definitely not going to give up on it!

You answered yourself, I want anonymous opinions. Obviously the officers and detectives I know are going to tell me I'm going to be hired. They know my morales and how I live my life and have seen first hand that I might make a good candidate. I completely value every opinion and response Ive received on here, close minded or not.

Again not being deflecting, what you are doing is called being close minded and assuming the worst. Which is fine and I understand, didn't you know everyone in jail is innocent?

If you think I'm being close-minded, you're entitled to your opinion. That and $3 will buy you a cup of coffee.

If you were being forthright, you would have mentioned that you already talked to officers in person and what their opinions were in your initial post. That you waited to mention it until you responded to another LEO as a 'gotcha' says a lot about you.
