does training differ in sheriff, local, and state academies. Which is the hardest and why do they differ? Also is the academy easier then MC recruit training because im sure it is easier im just wondering. SEMPER FI

It depends on where you go to the academy. The academy I went to had both county recruits and municiple recruits. The state has their own academy. As for how tough it was, the academy was mentally more challenging but it did not compare physically as when I went through Army basic training. Also, it was only from 0600 to 1700 monday through Friday. Basic was 24/7 with a DI constantly on your a$$.

Our whole county trains at the same center, but different instructors. The troopers go to a MUCH tougher academy in a completely different area.
