    Simmer down there sir. Lets clarify the facts of the matter. You are guilty of the crime driving without headlights. You came here to find a way to beat the ticket. Some cars have anti-crash technology now. So if the sensor blows and that person rear-ends you and your family should they get off from a ticket? Failure to maintain your vehicle or equipment is teh drivers fault. And if you are behind the wheel of a vehicle at night and don't realize your lights are not on, I would suggest paying more attention to your vehicle. You should have seen your lights reflect on surfaces in front of you.

    How about you just plead guilty(since you did what the charge reflects) and move on in life?
