    My family lives in fear.

My sister J and her twin M bought a house a little over a year ago, and shortly after my brother moved in with them. I am staying here during my college winter break and I am noticing that they are all afraid of him. The twins, and J's two children. He hands out threats and is overly aggressive and they've had SO many of their things stolen and pawned off, including J's baby formula and prescribed pills. J has allowed him to stay even after her 5 year old had nightmare's of him being beaten by his uncle....it wasn't until my brother locked one of the kids ( 1yr old) outside in the sweltering Mississippi sun claiming that he would leave him there if he didn't get his way that my sister's decided to kick him out only to find that they couldn't since he had been staying there for more than 30 days. When the officers informed my sister of this I was enraged. I can honest;y say that he has problems, serious problems that need to be dealt with and since he found out that he couldn't be forced out his behavior has gotten worse. He uses intimidation to control my sisters and her children. I'm afraid that the only thing that will help this situation is when he finally hurts or kills (because I would not put it past him at all) one of my family. He's threatened my life before and even had me pinned down as I am the only one unwilling to be intimidated by him. But I don't really know how to defend my self and the truth of sexual dimorphism gives him an easy advantage over me. When I'm not here I am afraid for the children especially. Is there some way we can get him out of this house? He is unstable, and his temper breaks at the drop f a pencil. I really need some advice here....

When he commits a crime , call the police.

If he does anything that causes someone to be in fear for their safety, they SHOULD be able to get a court ordered protection order which supercedes the civil eviction process.

So you only called the police to try to evict him, yet you don't bother to call when he assaults you or other people in the home?

    ummmm. OK

    Get the hint?
Excuse me Officer, I have a stupid Question. "No problem, I've got a stupid answer for you!"

All of you must be on the same page. If one isn't then it makes it very difficult to get him out. It sounds like just the fact that you and your sisters are breathing is enough to get him to go off. Next time he does, call the po-po and have him arrested. Once he is out of the house and in jail, get a protection order. Once that is in place, get the eviction started just to be safe. The eviction shouldn't be needed, since typically the protection order does not allow the person to be in the same place as the victim, but I've seen a temporary protection order expire and the person come back into the house because they had been living in "temporary housing". The the eviction had to be done, while the person was living there. Talk about a sticky situation.
But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object, evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new guards for their future security.

Translation for the intellectually challenged: If the government screws the people too much, it is the right and duty of the people to revolt and form a new government.

You can look into committing him to a local nut hut, sorry "Mental Health Facility".
Different states have different processes for this it might only take 2 family members to sign off.
50yr old female, traffic stop, possession of meth
Consent to search her purse was verbally obtained by her .
    Conversation goes like this,

Me: M'am is this your purse? Her: yes.
Me: Is this your wallet? Her: yes.
Me: Is this your change purse? Her: yes.
Me: Is this your blue cloth bag? Her: yes.
Me: Is this your Meth? Her: NO.

Pesky purse elves hiding Meth in her purse?
